The meeting will be both in person and remotely via zoom. Due to the COVID-19 situation, it is to be expected that the vast majority to attend remotely. As this is the first hybrid meeting we are having in the Action, below please find some information on the meeting.

Please note, that both for in-person attendance AND for remote attendance, an accepted invitation is required. You will receive in the next week an e-mail invitation via e-COST. There are instructions in the e-mail for accepting or rejecting the invitation. Do not forget to follow the instructions for accepting the invitation, as the invitation becomes automatically invalid by the e-COST system after some days and we will not re-send invitations.
The meeting will be held remotely via ZOOM. As our ZOOM license is not for an unlimited number of persons, only persons who have accepted their invitations will be able to participate, either remotely or in person. You do not have to decide prior to the meeting if you will attend remotely or in person. HOWEVER: Only those attending in person can be reimbursed for their travel expenses.
For those that will attend in person
The meeting will be organized in the Geographical Institute “Jovan Cvijić” SASA, Djure Jakšića 9, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia. There are enough rooms available in the Institute to avoid overcrowding.
Please ask the LOC regarding accommodation possibilities and in-person attendance details.
If you do not travel by car and have to book airplane and/or train tickets, we suggest doing so adding cancellation insurance. The cancellation insurance can be reimbursed from COST, in case you are not able to travel due to tightening of travel restrictions. Those that will attend in person will be reimbursed from COST after the meeting with a flat rate of 171 €/person/day for accommodation and meals (no receipts required). Signing of the attendance list every day is a prerequisite for claiming reimbursement.
In case you decide to cancel your travel any time before the meeting, you can nevertheless attend remotely via ZOOM. Links for joining remotely will be communicated to you in advance of the meeting dates.

During the meeting coffee breaks, participants can socialize remotely through the GATHER.TOWN platform. Links for the virtual coffee/drink breaks and instructions will be communicated to you in advance of the meeting dates. Due to the low TLR (Technology Readiness Level) of teleportation, coffee or drinks will not be provided, please arrange your own in advance.
